Butter garlic prawns, a very easy and quick prawns/shrimp appetizer! Bite into these buttery and peppery prawns en-robed in butter and garlic!
Butter Garlic Prawns
- 200 gm Prawns
- 1 Tsp Cornflour
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- 3 Tbsp Butter this can be reduced to 2 Tbsp
- 2 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
- ¼ Tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 2 Tbsp Chopped Spring Onion
- 1 Medium Chopped Green Chili
- 2 Tbsp Chopped Fresh Coriander
- Salt to taste
Take 200gm prawns and take off their shell. Add 1 tbsp cornflour to it and mix this well till each prawn gets a good coat of the cornflour.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add 3 tbsp butter to it.
Once the butter starts melting, add 1 medium chopped green chili and sauté this well.
Now, add 2 tbsp chopped garlic and 2 tbsp chopped spring onion and fry this for a min or two.
Add 2 tbsp chopped green coriander and sauté
Add the prawns and mix them will with the garlic butter.
After cooking them for a min, add 1/4 tsp crushed black pepper and salt to taste.
Stir fry prawns on medium to high flame for 4-5 min or till they are done.
Serve the prawns right away and enjoy!
